The battle of Cowshed was intense and crazy. Snowball had made a plan in which we were going to attack. I think that he did a good job of organising and planning an attack technique for the battle, he seems to know how the things work in the battlefield. He set three attacks, and I was on the last one. I was with the cows and the strong animals. During this battle we were very focussed on the objective that was sending Mr. Jones and his men back to where they came. I was very nervous, they entered in our territory and this was our second time fighting against humans (the first one was when they ousted Mr. Jones from the farm). During this battle there was a carousal, I was very scared and I started to kick everything that I saw, I kicked a boy in his head with my iron horseshoe, he got knocked out.

Mr. Jones carried a gun, he killed a sheep that was on our side, and after the war we did a funeral in honor of the sheep. In this moment I felt very bad for the sheep, and my remorse for kicking the boy in the head made me realise that what I had done was not something to be   proud of. I like to participate in the war but I don't like killing!

Building a windmill seems to be a challenge to all of us, if we decided to build a windmill we would have to carry heavy stones and have a hard working year to finish it. Snowball seems to have great ideas, but I think that if we don't work for the food production we will starve to death. Napoleon says that the windmill would be a waste of time. I think that having food for the whole farm is more needed than the windmill. Napoleon is always right. I think that the pigs are very intelligent animals and I think that these visions that they have towards the future they are very clever.

In the farm sometimes we have disagreements and sometimes we question what the pigs are planning, Squealer and the dogs always keep us up to date. The dogs are somewhat hostile and belligerent when Squealer can't get across one idea. I think the farm is going well, with hard work and unity we will be prepare for any circumstance that tries to overwhelm the Animal Farm.

EXAMPLE #1:
I remember the battle as if it were yesterday. The great Snowball planned all perfectly. We the ducks attacked first, our mission was to make the farmers believe they had won by letting them go through our attack. It didn't come to their head that there was a second attack waiting for them. 

EXAMPLE #2:
Hard work is paying off on the farm; I'm very happy to be working for this hard working family. Now that I have time to think about the things that happened, I discern that the Battle of Cowshed was a battle full of emotions.

EXAMPLE #3:
During this battle there was an uproar, I was very scared and I started to kick everything that I could reach, I kicked a boy in the head with my horseshoe; he got knocked out.  Mr. Jones carried a gun, he killed a sheep that was on our side. After the battle we did a funeral in honor of the sheep.

Animal Farm changed drastically from beginning to end. Old Major was the pig that started this whole concept of what was going to be the farm ruled by the animals past away with very different ideas stated. This can be demonstrated with the simple fact when we say that Napoleon passed from being a leader to a dictator by oppressing the other animals. We can see that there is no equality at all when pigs start to enjoy privileges that the other animals don't have. Pigs can sleep more, they have bigger portions of food and they have less work than others. To conclude this inequality Squealer modified all the rules in favor of the pigs; "...Some animals are more equal than others".

I think that Animal Farm was stronger at the beginning when all animals had the idea that they had to work as a team and go through every problem and necessity as a farm. I think that with the dictatorship of Napoleon it is better organised because they plan everything to go around the pigs but it is not as strong as it was in the beginning. I think that if Napoleon organised everything to work for the progress of the whole farm it would be a totally different farm. The idea of equality changed after the death of Old Major; the pigs had all privileges for them letting all the animals do the hard work. Animals were never equal, from the beginning pigs were the leaders and the ones who live the high live in the farm. Pigs were very intelligent animals and they took advantage of the others in every way the could, others animals didn't know how to read and they changed the rules that were written in the farm. The pigs taking control and enjoying privileges that other didn't have make the farm equal from the moment that Old Major died; they were never equal.

Squealer was the propaganda of the book. He was the pig who announced everything that Napoleon said and changed everything to benefit the pigs. Squealer always went around with the dogs, that were the body guards of the pigs. Every time that squealer went around to give an announcement and the animals didn't agree with something that he said, the dogs were there to growl and intimidate other animals. The dogs were a symbol of repression. He does an effective jobs because even though animals sometimes don't agree with him, he uses his dog to make this more as an obligation or request than an as announcement.

"All animals are equal but some are more equal than others", if we relate this quote that appears in the book, with the history of the Russian revolution we could connect this in different ways. We can see that Russian ideology was communist, and only the leaders of the country are the ones who can become successful and independent individuals. We can see how in history Stalin and his men lived the high life without working, these were the people that were "more equal than others", in the other hand, there were the other people that did all their effort to maintain such country, these were "the others". This quote represents exactly what happened in the Russian revolution, the leaders enjoyed life, while the other class maintained them. They were all "the same" but the leaders had more privileges than the others. The author wrote this quote to symbolise in a different manner what was happening during this period of time. He wanted to make the readers to open their eyes and make them reflect on what was happening or on what could happen. In communism, everybody depends on the government and there is only one social class. I think that communism is the lock that is in the door for success.
